How has expansion of nurse practicioners scope of practice (or other mid-level providers) addressed the current concerns of: healthcare workforce shortages, health insurance cost-containment, and the provision of prevention and curative services to under served populations in the U.S.
What steps need to be taken to make this proposal a reality?
How could stakeholders (federal and/or state government, institutions of higher education for these professions, the health insurance industry, others?) play a role in supporting the expanded scope of practice?
What barriers can you identify to make this happen?
1. from the origin of nursing staff we should take care. during the time of teaching we should make them practice all the skills by demonstration and by return demonstration compulsory. then during the time of interciew skill based test should conduct to identify an skilled staff. then after selection the work is not finished HRM should take care of staff staying, transportation, accomodation, facilities, insurance service, EPF service, leave policies etc. so it will meet very shortly the shortage of staff.
2. the stakeholders should plan an insurance facility for tge employee and for the dependants, government should provide regular pay scale, accommodation should provided. in undeveloped area there should be schooling facility, transportation facility, communication facility etc. so that the staff can be retain for long petiod of time. inside the hospital there should be free hospital check up.
