Preschool language development is extremely important for
making children develop necessary skills to use and understand
language.Learning language skills need to be made enjoyable for
them along with being educative in nature.Verbal skills need to be
enhance when doing languahe activities in classrooms.
For instance,a role play can be done in which children could be
a given a toy telephone and they could be encouraged to talk on it
with each other.They could be encouraged to use their imagination
to talk with with other,this would surely help to develop their
verbal communication skills.Even parents can be encouraged to do
this activity at home,and talk to their chlildren over the
phone.Parents and teachers could play patients and the child doctor
and they can talk on the phone,encouraging the child to speak like

Small groups can be made and some communication games can be
played.This is another fun way to encourage language.A basket could
be placed in the middle of the room,with some random items like a
spoon,a toy animal,tea cups etc.and one child can be called to pick
something from it and encouraged to tell a small story.They should
not be interrupted when speaking because then they would feel
nervous and think they are wrong.Let them speak whatever they
