Mission is the fundamental reason for the organisation being existence.It defines what the company wants to be known as.

The mission statement of Walmart is Saving people money so that they can live better.

Here the Walmart wants to be known as store where people can buy their requirements at lower costs so that they can live better from what they save.

Here this mission statement of Walmart says that it focus more on consumers and Society rather than on employee and investors.However the employees and investors are also included in the society as the people in the mission statement refers to everyone in the society.

Here a mission statement is what are organisation priorities,it's values.Here Walmart doesn't show any major implications for it's employees in it's mission statements.Rest it perfectly projects every thing what the society is looking for. Hence,I think it would be better if Walmart includes it's value for it's employees so that it acts more effectively on employees which makes them work more efficiently.
