The Mission statement of Amazon is to be the most Customer-centric business of Earth. The vision that they follow is “Our vision is to be earth's most customer-centric company; to build a place where people can come to find and discover anything they might want to buy online’. The business of Amazon is the largest online retailer in the market globally serving around 200 nations. This kind of global reach was made possible with the Mission statement which was a customer-centric approach to determine the best offerings for the consumers. So the consumer focus being the priority, the business soon developed the online platforms like the Video streaming, online payment wallet, Cloud space for ancillary business associated with the brand. This has made the brand have a major market across the globe.
The vision suggests the same mission at the core. The consumer centralists have brought the brand this far. People come to buy and discover the same for anything that they want to buy online. So the business has kept is observation opened for the kind of products that each individual consumer goes for and thus made a very personalized experience for all consumers. Once they understand the Consumers well the business launched its offerings in other sectors for further growth that it shows on date. Hence the personalization and the observation of the consumer’s interest has brought the business so far online. And as per the mission and vision that it has based on the internet and the consumer experience based personalization’s has worked for it.
