Every country has its own right to control over its borders. There are several laws which enacted about the migration and its policies which protect the interest of citizens and determine who may enter the country. The illegal movements of the migrants will affect the security and public safety of US. But the legal immigration will support the economic competitiveness and also promote the financial success. About more than one million people were migrated to US in every year. This shows the openness of all races, ethnicities and religion of US across all over the world. The International Organisation for Migration ain to deter the illegal migration and also promote the well managed business through protecting the rights of people and protecting the potential refugees through reducing human trafficking and smuggling.
The Trump administration imposed a proposal that a green card given to the immigrants who meet requirements related to the education, age and the ability to speak English fluently. Almost 66% of the population received family based lawful permanent residence. This green card makes advantage to those people who have their relatives in US territory. This affect the fresher’s who wish to go to US for jobs or educational purposes. On the one hand this policy helps to avoid the overflow of migrants to US. There is a family based green card was formulated for this. So there is a chance for chain migration. There is a temporary legal permission given to small number of the unauthorised employees. This green card becomes a criterion to get permanent citizenship.
