Future of healthcare will depend on healthcare reforms as changes help to grow a field that revolves around the lives of human beings. The future health policy will be more inclusive after the recent initiatives taken by the U. S. government and will be heavily subsidized for low-income individuals with poor health.
Initially the health care costs and government spending will be higher and America’s health care system but it will go through a complete restructuring to make the health care cost more competitive and affordable for the common people even without subsidy. In coming future the cost will be market driven and more focus will be on critical care facilities.
The advancement in technology will play a vital role in healthcare industry. A multi-tiered healthcare delivery system will arise, and primary care physicians will focus on preventive and wellness care as well as some urgent care. Clinics and midlevel providers will handle will manage the next level of relatively more complex cases and multi specialty hospitals will manage the complex cases of the health care system but all the segments will work with support and coordination with the help of advance technology and a greater degree of information flow.
Integrated delivery systems in many occasions will replace practices provided independently to facilitate more coordination in health care facilities. Payment system will be more cost effective and efficient. Health care systems will more focus on prevention and wellness care and increased competition in industry will make it more efficient. The spending on research and development will increase so that the health care can find a cure for many non-curable diseases in coming days.
