Nurses ensures patient’s safe passage through health care units and organise care coordination to maximise timeliness, value and efficicacy and play an important role to prevent injuries, errors and inconvenience to the client.

Nursing can provide health promotion, counseling and education. Numerous personalised interventions like administration of medications, wound caring etc is done by the nurses. Nurses interpret patient information and makes critical decisions about required actions. They conduct research in support of improved practice and patient outcomes.

The strength of robotic nursing is on their ability to assist in nursing activities. They can handle various tasks including medical supply retrieval, food and medication delivery, patient movement and transfer etc. Robot can handle and help older adults and chronic illed patients to remain independent, reducing the need of care givers, and demand for care homes. However it cannot make a professional judgement on a specific situation of a patient and doesn’t take skilled clinical actions based on the health issues of client.
