According to HIPAA ie Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act Research is a systematic investigation ,including research development,testing and evaluation ,designed to contribute to generalizable knowledge.Currently health research is information based .Research now primarily entails data analysis.So biological samples were collected for diagnostic as well as treatment purposes.Through research we can learn about some of the disease trends,health care costs and functional abilities.For researh to be effective it requires clinical trials which can provide important information about the uses and adverse effects of medical interventions.Health research have paved the way to the development of new therapies and improvement in health care and public health.

A research proposal helps in conveying that the research material which the student is producing is worthwhile.Therefore it should contain all the key elements involved in the research proposal.A good inntroduction provides an important opportunity for the student to demonstrate competence in the relevant area as well as familiarity in the field.The introduction begins with a general statement of the problem area with a focus on a specific research problem,to be followed by the rationale or justification for the proposed study.

An effective introduction discusses the meaningfullness of the study while it presents the problem or issue.The introduction should address the topic of research,the area of sociology concerned with questions related to research interest,formulate research questions,the assumptions you are making in researching your question.The section must be able to capture the readers interest.it should also emphasize the significance of research question.it should be able to showcase the concepts you are using.
