According to Armstrong human resource management is the coherent approach for employing and developing people so HRM deals with the set of policies and practices in the organization employing various resources, performance rewards, leanings, and development practices and all other services that help to involve the employees. all these practices are integrated with one another strategically to align with the business goals.

so according to Armstrong, it is a philosophy of how people should be managed, how it improves the organizational effectiveness through its human capital. he also focussed on the strategic dimension that human resource carries by focusing on the integrated approach that all the functions are integrated to achieve the common goal of the organization,  he used the coherent approach to develop the human capital, making an integrated system which aligns all the human resource elements to the goal of the organization so employee development, performance reward , hiring, firing, etc all are for fulling the strategic objective of the organization.

a) so according to Armstrong the ultimate goal of human resource management is to achieve the goal of the organization through the help of human resource.

b) Armstrong looked HR planning through the context of the organization he says the success of the organization depends on the extent of how the planning is done i.e effectiveness with which future forecasting is done how all the requirement is fulfilled by implementing proper planning. so it all about accurately forecasting the human capital.
