The genesis of this approach of the company can be seen from the four fundamental values of the organization which is respect, integrity, responsibility, and opportunity.
The external methods are utilized in Chiquita’s approach which incorporates including SA (Social Accountability) 8000 and the Better Banana Project Principle of Fair Treatment and Good Conditions for Workers.
Being the buyer, producer, and supplier of a certain product, the company has to face some specific challenges in case of human resource.
