I am writing a thesis. How should I find the handbook (or professional sources) for the causes and treatments of brain death?
Is it true that there is no unified treatment for avoiding brain death (I mean there is no unified treatment for brain tumours and so on)? Different hospitals have different methods?

The following source should help you find other related
ones:
Wijdicks E. F. M., Varelas P. N., Gronseth G. S., Greer M. D.,
2010, Evidence-based guideline update: Determining brain death in
adults: Report of the Quality Standards Subcommittee of the
American Academy of Neurology

Brain death does not have any treatment. It is an irreversible
loss of brain functions. No hospitals have any methods to treat
brain death.
Other brain-related injuries such as a tumor, have a standard
procedure. But, it is on a case basis and the stage of tumor -
radiotherapy is the most sought-after treatment to kill cancerous
cells.
