The workplace capability communication is important when dealing with partnership accounting because just like any other profession English is essential for communicating. It is one of the basic skill requirements in order to handle a job efficiently. Not just for regular day to day tasks but also to do other accounting professional tasks such as, sending emails or prepare reports. They are also required to coordinate with various other professionals such as debtors and/or creditors. Verbal and written communication is very much important in the accounting professional field.
Communication is the core activity of the accounting profession, transmitting information from one person to another, from one organization to another – or a combination of both – and to the shareholders and other stakeholders of the organization.
The function of communication is to ensure that every member of the organization knows what is expected. Good communication is critical in ensuring the coordination and control of individuals, groups, and departments.
Many problems such as bias, distortion and omission are often the result of poor communication. However, these can be reduced and removed, as can secrecy, rumour and innuendo. This can result in the added advantage of conflict reduction.
