Human trafficking is more common than you may think, and as healthcare providers, we will want to be aware of the signs and know how to respond when we believe someone is being held against their will. Signs to look:
Victims of human trafficking are mostly children under 18 years and any one belonging to any age ,sex, ethinicity .
Low socioeconomic background people always get affected.
Children in foster homes, people migrating from other countries, mentally unstable peoples.
The things to know are how to contact the police about human trafficking issues, how to help a victim recovering from the human trafficking .
