Do you think we are expecting too much of healthcare
providers to require them to be good communicators – and also be
able to provide good technical quality of care? Why or why
not?
No, in my opinion I don't expect too much of healthcare providers to require them to be good communicators and also be to provide good technical quality of care.
It's matter of efficiency of work we does. Even if a number of providers are there, doesn't mean that they will provide good quality service. Moreover communication is one of the major aspects in effective service. All it is needed is :
* Adequate number of staffing according to the patient needs and organisation affordability
* Effective training and practice
* Good communication is a skill which need patience, time and mind
* Malpractice and other ethical problems can bring up when number increase.
* It is always prefer not more, not less but adequate staffing for smooth functioning of service
* At the same time health care workers need to be provide with all their need and satisfaction in their job. That will help to yield good service from them too.
So I believe it is not the matter of number, but it is matter of efficiency and time.
