  1. I feel armed citizens can better defend themselves. But not stop crime from happening.
  2. Yes, Armed citizens may unknowingly aid the criminals and provide them access to arms which could further increase the rate of crime.
  3. Yes. Not all citizens are trained to use guns. Therefore there are chances that the weapons may be wrongfully used.
  4. The individual who wishes to possess any weapon such as gun must acquire professional training and related certificate. Then, apply for license from the concerned government agency.
  5. I feel an extremely trained personnel such as the police force must be involved in training civilans how to use weapons. However, they may not have sufficient time and thus request the retired police senior officials to conduct the trainings. These will provide trainings and share knowledge better than anyone else. However, licensing must be a guarded government function and licenses must be rendered after thorough check. Also, there must be a regular check to ensure the weapons are being used only if required and that too appropriately.
  6. Yes, it would as the officials would have to pry into citizens' personal lives to determine the usage of the weapon. However, safety comes first.
  7. Yes, any crime victim must be allowed to fight back. This is in accordance with the right to live.
  8. Follow the safety norms. Be cautious and safe. Not to venture into unknown areas during odd hours of the night. Not to be involved in arguments with criminal attitude people. Report any issue instantly to the police.
