I do feel that money is a very important part of everyone's life as it not only helps us in fulfilling certain needs of ours but also helps us in helping others in needs. Being said that, there are a lot of things beyond money and some volunteer services makes us happier than some lucrative opportunities.

In my case, I have been giving voluntary free of cost counselling services to individuals in need of a mental support, of guidance or in need of an active listener. I have been giving this service since the pandemic started and this is my way of helping individuals in fighting with the crisis. Mental health is a very important area for fighting the crisis as immunity is largely dependent on the mental status of a person and through my voluntary counseling services I attempt to boost the psychological immunity of all those people who asks me for help.

This experience changes my perspectives and modifies them everyday. I get to know a lot of unique things of human thoughts and behaviour and also about my ownself. I figure out my own biases and try to resolve them and through these enriching experience I learn a lot more than what text books could have taught me. In short, these experiences helps me to change myself in a positive and healthier way.

This scholarship will help me a lot in working and studying on certain dimensions of human mind. My interest in the field is crucial to the research but financial support is highly needed to work on it and apply and test my hypothesis. Thus, this scholarship will impact my higher education pretty positively and will help me in helping more people in the near and far future.
