1). Clinical psychology is the branch that deals with the diagnosis and treatment of different mental, psychological and emotional disorders and disabilities. Counselling psychology is the branch of psychology which deals with functioning be it personal or interpersonal during the life course. The differences between clinical psychology and counselling psychology are
(a). Clinical psychology focuses on dealing with people with more pathological symptoms, serious psychological problems while counselling psychology focuses on healthy side of individuals who have less serious psychological problems who can be treated with counselling and don't need much medical intervention.
(b). Clinical psychology uses more psychoanalytical persuation and behavioral issues while counselling psychology have more humanistic and patient focusing approach.
(c). Clinical psychology researches are focused on psychopathological issues while counselling psychology researches focus on cross cultural psychology, vocational assessments etc.
The similarities between clinical psychology and counselling psychology are:-
(a). Both practice same ethical and legal guidelines provided by the state.
(b). Research works are done in same type of settings.
(c). The training process of both fields of psychology are the same.
4). Left hemisphere of the cerebrum the right side of the body while the right hemisphere of the cerebrum controls the left part of the body. Right hemisphere of cerebrum deals with visual processing, spatial abilities, music etc while the left hemisphere of the cerebrum deals with the logical abilities, calculations etc.
