Homeless count is the need of the U.S Department of housing and urban development which is a collaborative efforts of local organization and government as well by community volunteers. If we look statistically Since last year homelessness decrease upto 14% as per the research studies conducted by government entities. one by one we will see the factors

1. Affordability- lack of affordability specially in urban areas leads to inability to maintian the housing for the famliy

2. Poverty- Because of the unexpected family crisis, unexpected death of bread winner of family, sudden loss of job all leads to poverty and ultimately result in outcome that is lack of housing

3. Bills high then earning- most of the poor household facing the problem of high bills . this is due to expnasion of improved efficiency an decrease in demand per capita. example is electricity payment among poor. most of the population paying a big percentage of their income because electricity cost them more per square foot.

4. Drug-addiction- alcohlism and drug addiction or substance abuse greatly leads to homelessness in US. Because now a days people are getting addicted to drugs to miantain the coping with the stressful or devastating situation of their life. beacuse of the addiction it leads to mental health issues and leads to abscence of stable, affordable and housing in good condition.
