Answer:
◆ Explanation: 1. As we start to trace a drop of blood from the first of all it passes through the aorta.
2. Aorta carries blood through thorax, abdomen then to the pelvis region.
3. In the pelvis region aorta devides into right and left illiac arteries. From illiac arteries bulk of blood continues towards the thigh through femoral artery.
4. As femoral artery descends towards the knee, it carries blood to the popliteal artery behind the knee.
5. Popliteal artery also devides into 3 major parts in the lower leg to circulate blood in the lower leg.
6. Anterior tibial, posterior tibial and fibular arteries are the branches of popliteal artery in the lower leg which circulates blood in the foot.
7. Anterior tibial artery also forms a dorsalis pedis artery to circulate blood to the foot.
8. Dorsalis pedis artery also forms an artery named as arcuate artery, it is the artery which circulates blood to the top of the foot.
9. Finally arcuate artery is the artery which circulates blood to the top of the foot.
