Middle adulthood is the phase of ourlife where major physical
changes happen and we transition from being young to entering into
old age.The expectations of a middle aged adult is to have a
healthy and purposeful life in this phase.This phase is perceived
in a negative way because of which people go through a midlife
crisis.
Midlife crisis is experienced when an individual loses their
sense of identity and experiences instablility is life,since the
purpose or goals are lost.Age makes the person less restricted,so
the expectation of the person in this stage of life is to find a
sense of purpose and do things which one did not get time to do
before,and maybe achieve all those unaccomplished goals.
Middle age adults are called the sandwich generation who are
stuck between taking care of their older parents and their own
children,leaving no time for themselves.The expectation is to gain
back that enthusiasm for lif one had when one was young and find
