Answer 31:

Option (d) Geographic is a common variable for business to business and business to the consumer market because the location is an essential point for any business as market segmentation. The business succeeds when its location is in a favorable place. The supply chain for sourcing the raw material to supplying end products to the consumers should be very easy and cost-effective so the geographic is the variable common for both the business.

Others are not the correct option because demographic is more important in business to the consumer but not in business to business. The behavioristic variable is more concerned with the buying behavior of consumers and business to business deals are done on the relationship, good profit, and terms. The buyer psychographics is also a common variable but more concerned with buyer interest for the consumers.

Answer 32:

Option (d) Target, It developed a Price & Quality positioning base, presenting the company as an "upscale discounter". This was their strategy to attract customers, to increase sales by putting the products on discount and sale by mixing product line and displaying the options at low prices, but earning their profit margin.

Answer 33:

Option( c) Observation, this is because ethnographic research is collected by observation as a primary data, to gather the details or information for increasing the knowledge. The others are not the correct options because there approach doses not match for ethnographic research.

Answer 34:

Option (b) make, is the correct option which is not a function of a firm's supply chain, as the functions are inventory, sources of raw material and deliver but make or the production is another department function.

Answer 35:

Option (c) Joint venture, this is the correct option as this is not possible in retailing ownership has the right with one of the retailer but in the joint venture, the assets will be divided into two or more, so the owner will not be single and only as compared to other forms as mentioned.

Answer 36:

Option(b) Focus group as the question is to get the feedback from a few target members and focus group target few as 6-12 members who can give the feedback of the storyboard as the primary data. This is also used in marketing and marketing research for better and best possible results. The others are not the correct option as the observation is done by looking people reaction, or situation based whereas experimentation gives casual data was the data is mostly collected for the differences in the opinion and survey is not the answer as survey includes some questions and answers are given accordingly, no other opinion and feedback is collected.

Answer 37:

Option (d) Observation is the correct answer as the research is based on the observation, looks, and behavior of the person and the result in the higher level of sales of the landing page is being observed by monitoring the viewer. The other are incorrect because not every primary research method helps in noticing the same results like in monitoring every research method is used for specific purposes.

Answer 38:

Option (b) Decline, is the correct answer because product life cycle has four stages introduction where the product is being launched and awareness of the product is done, then the growth stage where business increases gradually and start increasing and earning profit then there is a maturity stage where the business is in blooming gains profit and is stable then there is a decline where the business starts losing profits and operation goes in loss.

Answer 39:

Option (a) manufacturer brand, they are large firms that produce complete industrial products that are open for purchase. It has the same name that is of the manufacturer on the product for advertisement and selling of the product. Other are not the correct option as private label products are manufactured by one company and sold by some other and the chain is handled by retailer which is called as store brand.

Answer 40:

Option (c) Concentrated, is the correct answer for niche marketing, as this explains how the consumers are concentrated from others to be focused, concentrated means selective this can be based on the aging, pricing, income, etc. The others are not the correct option for niche marketers as multi-segment is not required, as a niche market requires only segmenting, The behavioral is not the best strategy for niche marketing and undifferentiated is just opposite of concentrated marketing. Niche marketing does not needs a wider audience but a selective and focused one.
