Please give a brief written summary of your Mead . What is your basic understanding of what Mead had to say about "The Self"? how does this relate or not to other theorists you've read so far?
Mead has given a theory named as "Nature of self". According to him the human mind is the most important organ in deciding the nature of self.
He says that self is the result of social process. A series of events keep on going inside human brain. These series of actions help in complete formulation and development of concept of self.
Series of events which goes in mind are basically resultant of various life experiances. These experiances depends on our abilities. These abilities depends on our natural aptitude and attitude.
Mead is also a honey wine. It is an ancient drink of royalty. It is prepared by fermentation of honey, water and yeast. It is being identified as remarkable alcoholic beverges. Fruits and spices are also being added to it. Mead has similarity with the term "self".
Self or the personality aspect is important for defining a character. Self is also made up of different characters such as passion, anger, love, hate, avenge, greed, kindness, confidence and other emotions.
These emotions are cooked with life experiances and our talent ensures the growing of sparkling colours of personality. These help us in keeping us apart from the normal crowd.
