A stricter punishment for rapists an argument that I have bee having with a lawyer friend lately. The stance I have adopted is that stricter punishment in a state that has been infamously ridiculed for its increasing crime against women is something that is essential for criminals. This is in order to instill a sense of fear and also respect for the law and order. Lack of stricter actions and possibility of bail are something that continue to provide encouragement to such criminals and trivialize the value of human life on a moral and ethical forefront as well. The same arguments on different disciplines grounds can be brought up in front of the jury wherein the inputs of these various academicians are taken in.

However the argument that this other party presents is that a stance like this will end up creating more crimes instead of less since predators will now ensure death and leaving lesser evidences around to get away with their crimes. Therefore with the same intention of reducing crime, this argument takes an opposite action stance for the case presentation
