Coronavirus pandemic is a unique adverse situation faced for the first time by almost 100% population.The situation is such that individuals with different emotional levels and having variable personal strengths will have wide range of response patterns to this pandemic.It could be resulting into drastic negative effects upon the meek managers in respect to their proactive management decisions and highly challenging cost effectiveness.For certain managements,it could be an excellent opportunity for testing the endurance capacity of their managers.During this opportunity of display of uninhibted work potential.For another class of managers,this pandemic may prove to be their lifetime golden opportunity for expressing their full sized vision resulting into cost effective high productivity goals.The above mentioned few examples of diverse managers' behaviour will come naturally out of their pattern of growth in academics,personality development and disciplined assimilation of properly filtered and meaningful knowledge.
An average manager will find himslef under undue stress worrying continuously about his job security and the stability of his future.Such managers will get into a declined morale and the situation can result into higher level of employee stress and anxieties causing dampness in employee wellness standards.It can further have negative effects in effective decision making,work performance levels and key competancy areas.Productive employees producing high quality of work may require additional considerations for striking a workable balance in their worklife and maintaining mental and physical health.Managers and employees looking after high risk government duties in health and security categories may be more prone to illness and personal health issues.Government may have to make special additional provisions to deal with such conditions in the testing times of the pandemic survival phase.
In order to face this untimely adverse event,managers should not panic on seeing the quantum of work left .Instead they should start developing new methods of doing work from home that will help the organisation as whole in achieving the work while staying at home and maintaining social distancing strictly.Organisations must not retrench employees in this miserable situation as such situation has been uncertain for everyone.And employees,the other side,should try to focus on striking a balance between work life and personal life during this quarantine times.As everybody's safety is at stake,there is no room for even 0.01% negligence on part of responsible citizens.The government may have to take stricter actions and rules for making things look tougher in such pandemic situation.People may not take it as preventive measure by government,instead try to bully for miserable situation they are in.Such situation brings both visionary people and average minded people in forefront.Who can make gains even in worst situation is ultimate success even after hundreds of failure.
Employers should try to notify the employees from time to time about the safety measures and working from home guidelines.This is the time to make their employees believe about the culture and goodwill of your organisation,about well being of their employees,their salaries,their job security etc.This will create huge impact in success of an organisation in days to come once this pandemic situations gets vanished.Since that seems to be far,now question is how to remain positive and keep employees relaxed and positive in such situations?Answer will always follow with mindsets of employers and key persons of companies.How do they lead their company and staff in such event.
When survival becomes tough,look at the government,health sector and armies who are regularly developing the measures on how to increase the safety cover for citizens of our country across the globe.The anxieties of employees can be managed by the performing same roles as mentioned above by the employers.Employers may have to get in the shoes of government officials and start believing themselves as leaders of nation.Ofcourse,all employers may not have the practical reasons for taking such roles,but they can always immitate the good from government in their own manner for benefit of employees.
Doctors,Policemen,and other government officials who are regularly in touch with coronavirus positive patients are living more riskier lives than anybody else in the world.So, government might ask for some compulsory financial help from companies and public for helping out in pandemic.As unemployment may rise also, so such cases may leave employers cutting pay rates of employees.In such testing times,employees may to produce a productive work with high quality of work and depending upon that they could secure their job positions.A lot of changes may crept in such fast changing business world.Some innovative techniques of working and completing job process may be figures out so that costs be saved leaving employees in happy places at home with secure job.Such actions should be of a real,charismatic and visionary managers who always work for society,customers and organisation.
