The year 2020 would always be remember as the deadliest year till date and China has won this third world war without using missiles or battling any battles. The Covid-19 pandemic has hit the world at a scale and speed that we have only seen so far in doomsday movies and the way we are seeing it today is far more frightening than the fiction movies. This same pandemic scenarios we all saw in the 2009 movie "Contagion" but no one has ever imagnied that that movie would become reality in 2020. We always wanted to delete the year 2020 and reinstall it as it has virus. but we all are helpless.
This pandemic has hit the world economy so drastically and in a 2019 joint report from the World Health Organization (WHO) and the World Bank estimates the impact of such a pandemic at 2.2 per cent to 4.8 per cent of global GDP (US$3 trillion). That was well before the world knew of Covid-19. another estimates stated that India’s aggressive 40-days lockdown could bring the country’s growth down to 2.5% from the 4.5 per cent and would badly hit many businesses along with the employees.As Prime Minister Narendra Modi said in his address to the nation when he announced a 21-day lockdown, if this pandemic is not contained, it could set us back by decades.
When the lockdown 2.0 stage came to the point where we have to work for life and livlihood both because both the terms are simulatneously work for another. If we live then only we are able to earn for the livlihood and vice versa.
However, even if global economies bounce back sooner than expected, Indian Companies like MSMEs, entrepreneurs likely to pay a high price.These companies are too small to have enough of a cushion to last through a pandemic like this one. Add to this the fact that many of these companies have been asked to down shutters or curtail operations while still paying employees and that’s apart from meeting costs for taxes, power, and other utilities.
Many employees working in small scale industries and manufacturing industries are losing job security and protection due to the pandemic and many fearing the loss of pay upto any percentage. The concept of work from home has to legitimise becuase of the virus and this has bring down employees morale and many are stressing having anxity problems on the thought of losing job.
This pandemic has changed the way we use to work , schools are running online completely, roads are dead, markets are dead, offices are forcefully working from home, no play session fro kids, no e commerce business, no junk foods, no flights, no business trips, still the life is going on.
Governement is making drastic decisons on all areas keeping in mind the status of every level of human be it farmers, daily wage earners, office goers, students, homemakers, business houses. Gov is just working on the model of employee welfare and effective employees . They have been performing their task day and night under the constant fear of getting affected by the deadly virus and gradually in many places many Doctors and nurses, other medical staffs, Polices got caught by the virus and took many lives. But apart there are many breed who are pelting stones on the medical staffs and mistreating with them destroying medical camps, flouting isolation and quarantine rules, roamiing in lockdown without any reason,they donot know that their behaviour could only make the situation worse than the expected.

We all are hoping to further stop the spread of deadly virus and contain it effects by the lockdown system which was effectively been followd by all the affected nations like India, US, Italy, Spain, China, Germany, any many more. If we folow the social distancing diligently we would definitley stop this virus and hopefully vaccination come up as soon as possible .The vaccine is being developed by scientists at the University of Oxford who believe there is an 80 per cent chance of success.Social distancing and a vaccine are the only two ways to deal with Covid-19 which has led to lockdown extensions across the world.
