Project progress report making and presentation to stakeholders:

• The project progress report is a document that describes the details of project development. It explains the completed tasks and activities and the status of milestones as per project plan.
• Based on the complexity and scope and plan of the project the project report can be prepared weekly, monthly or specified intervals, mainly for each 25% milestone the project progress report are developed.
• Various activities and milestone completion report and evolution are explained in the report with timed manner.
• The document is submitted to various stake holders.
• The next stage development and plan can also be included in the progress report.

Techniques than can be used in progress report:

• Gantt charts.
• Critical path and Flow diagrams.
• Various UML diagrams.

Areas Covered:

• Completed activities status and evolution.
• The changed scope and need of that.
• Planned completion statistics.
• Have any roadblocks and plans to resolve it.
• Assist needed.

Agile team communication:

• Agile team communication is different from traditional communication in many aspects.
• The face-to-face communication is important in agile communication. But it is not mandatory in traditional communication.
• The value of communication document is limited, only sufficient information is added in them, but in traditional communication documentation is important.
• The working product demonstration is used in the communication to explain the progress.
• Based on real demo rather than concept explanation.

Three roles in scrum project:

• Team lead: It is the master role in a scrum project. The overall management of the team vest on him. Planning, scheduling, etc are making by him.
• Team member: The development and delivery of the system is vest on him. The various plans and schedules made by team lead will be followed by him.
• Stakeholder: The direct user of the product is known as the stakeholder. He funds the development of the project and will monitor the progress of the project in various milestones.
