How would one compare and contrast the similarities and differences between women’s and men’s sexual addiction?

• Male sexual addicts tend to objectify their partners more than women sexual addicts.Males are less emotionally involved in their sexual behaviours compared to women.This lack of emotional involvement,makes male sex addicts to engage in voyeuristic sex, buying prostitutes,indulging in anonymous sex,as well in exploitative sex more than female sex addicts.
• Women sex addicts are underrepresented,which doesnt mean they do not exist.Females use sex for control and attention.They show higher scores on fantasy sex,trading sex,seductive role sex etc.They are more emotionally involved and sometimes seek intimacy.
• Males are brought up in our society to have a sense of entitlement over their partners especially women,and their sexual addicition is the culmination of that existing trend in our culture whereas women are not raised like that which is why their sexual addiction goes against the culturally set norms.Women according to set norms,are not supposed to have many partners and just submit to their partners,so their sexual addiction behaviour defies those prescribed norms.
