Answer:

  1. Progress is the nature of any art form. From the starting of human civilizations to recent times, art forms have gone through a significant change. How these changes took effect? The answer is through artistic imagination and experiments. An artistic experiment with his area of expertise, he/she garner experience and use it in his next creation. He/she learns and un-learns many details and that significantly change his/her style of work.
  2. We interpret our world according to our own experience and understanding. Any specific object can be a thing to rejoice for some and a curse for others. This is also the case with images. Images can be interpreted through several lenses and that enables it for being used for many aspects of the works.
  3. Yes, I am familiar with both of these terms. Nonrepresentational art forms use abstract art to convey the main ideas, whereas representational art forms uses figurative forms to do the same. I think both of these art forms have successfully conveyed its purpose, but I prefer representational work slightly more as it is direct and easy to understand.
