Health promotion/prevention is the process to develop people in maintaining control over the health standards and it's determinants.In short choosing the healthy behaviour life and decreasing the chances of illness.

Health promotion/prevention had lot of benefits in the community.

It helps an individual to reach the optimal health standards in life.Certain basic principles of health promotion such as food, shelter, Income, Education etc had lot of uses in an individual life.Healthy life style is one of the example of approaches to health promotion/prevention which deals with many day to day healthy behaviours and life styles e.g..Hand washing, cleanliness in cooking , avoid smoking habits etc.

Health promotion had certain principles which improves cost, quality and the health of the population.They are having positive opinion or concept over the health care system, participation and planning, Interventions or actions put forth, multiple perspectives and equity in health.
