CONDUCTION

Based on any of your experiments, do you have evidence for the existence of an object with no charge? If so, explain the experiment and your reasoning. If not, does this mean that an object with no charge does not exist? Could you do experiments with the equipment in the lab to prove an object with no charge exists? Can you imagine any experiments that could be done to prove that an object with no charge does not exist? Explain your reasoning.

  • As we know that it is the electrostatic repulsion by which we can test either the particle is charged or not . let us illustrate it by example
  • let we have a bar ( we don`t know about it ) ok if we take another charged bar and take it towards the first bar there are two possibility
  • first it can atrract but attraction canalso be done between oppositly charged body and charged & nutral body - due to induction   so we can not say anythng about the electric nature by attraction.
  • second is repulsion by which we can identify the charged and uncharged body .(because uncharged body attracted in both direction )
  • second for particle we can set a system in which there are two metalic plate with +ve and -ve potential and passig the beam of that particle from the place between the plates -- if particle is charged it get attracted towards the opposite plate otherwise no deflection show. eg.- gama ray , nutrino etc
