Evidence based practice is considered as one of the key element in patient care.It is described as a tool to take decision during patient care along with situation and resources with the help of research studies and evidences.

EBP always facilitate   a nurse to question the current situation and find the solution for that. It  allows the nurses to understand many factors regarding patient care.According to the research findings they are aware about the advantages,disadvatages,risk factors and possible outcome of a particular procedure,tests etc.EBP is highly patient oriented tool.Nurse can involve patient also in the care plan.Moreover it helps all nurses to provide a standardised care and avoid outdated resources and materials .By analysing datas the knowledge level will be boosted and reflected in patient care.It enhanced the leadership quality of a staff nurse .By critical thinking and proper decision making they assure  the quality of care and better patient outcome.

Evidence based practice is valued by colleagues too.Because ,through this particular way of care enhanced the kowledge level and leadreship capacity of every staff.It elevated the dignity and made them proud about their profession.As it is patient centered the nurse should explain the details of care with the patient and family.Through  this experinced more patient satisfaction and outcome.It helps the nurses to maintain a positive attittude towards the profesion.
