Nike is an American brand that is associated with design, development, manufacturing along with marketing and sales into various segments namely footwear, apparel, equipments, accessories and services.
Now, we should know what brand means and some of its associated terms like Brand, Brand name, Branding, Brand Promise & Brand Positioning Strategy.
1. Brand- A Brand is something i.e., specifically distinguished from other products, services or concepts so as to easily communicate and market it. It can be product related or service related.

2. Brand Name- A brand name refers to the name of that product or service.

3. Branding- It is the process to market that specific product or a service to make audience(people) familiar with it.

4. Brand Promise- A brand promise is a tagline which a company uses to deliver a message that what the audience (customers) can expect from that brand or service.

5. Brand Positioning Strategy- In simple words, brand positioning strategy refers to a conceptual place on which the targeted customer think, when they thinks of that brand.

Nike is successfull because it has some depth marketing strategies in the World. The money spent on Sports sponsorships rounds about to 2.3.031 billion dollars as per 2014 Fiscal Report, this figure states that Nike nearly spends about 100 dollar per second and 3 billion dollars per year on advertising. It promotes their products with having some of the renowned celebrities, professionals with sponsorship agreements. Currently, Nike focuses on sponsorships, internet marketing, email marketing and multi-media marketing campaigns.

Just for a knowledge Nike received various Awards for its advertisements.

Nike has built a very reputable image across all of its customers around the Globe. Although its products are a bit expensive but depite of that customers find it worth spending over it. Whether being sport shoes, sport tees or sports accessories all of its products are highly sold out around the globe. Not just people loves it because it is endorsed by Celebs but its popularities lies in the quality, comfortness and in value for money.

As per the Brand promise Nike states 'Just Do It' which clearly inspires to bring inspiration and innovation to every athelete in the World. The reason why Nike is supports sportsmanship is because mostly, all of its products are linked promoting various sports played by atheletes.

Firstly, we should know what exactly Brand Voice is well, it refers to the valus of the brand while promoting a message of it to the Target Audience, it is how a brand is conveyes its brand characteristics to the audience.
Referring to Nike, it Brand Voice is urgent, is motivational and is encouraging, Since, its linked to atheletes hence its brand's voice inspires customers not just to but their clothes but to get our and run a marathon.

As we all know Nike's marketing and brand positioning strategies is known and appreciated around the world but as per my personal recommendations-

1. Nike should not only be confined to just a single sport i.e., running but also should get involved into other sports equi[pments and accessories as well.

2. It should widely strengthen the distinctive variety of products for other segments as well.

3. A brand is known by the image it has since, there is a lot of duplicacy in the market for its product Nike should take appreciable measures to limit this widespread distribution of its duplicate products.

Nike being a brand has contributed a lot tonthe society. One out of 6 Nike community stores offers 40,000 dollars in annual grands to 8 local non-profitt groups. In total community stores across USA will award 2 ,40,000 each year in their communities via the Nike Community impact fund. Not only Nike creates 1000 tonnes of jobs each year across it stores but also promotes a good well being for its employees.
