Nike inc is
an American multinational corporation which is engaged in the
business of design, development, manufacturing and supply of
footwear, apparel, equipment, accessories and service for the
global world market.
As a CEO of Nike, the challenges sees ahead to try to regain
corporate responsibility and supporting actions to be carried out
to overcome them, are as below
- Include in the
strategies: Corporate responsibility is not in the
strategy of the Nike, so in order to regain the same position, as a
CEO I would like to include it in the strategies of Nike for future
growth and development.
- Convince employee
team for corporate responsibility initiative regain:
Currently there is no team available to lead the corporate
responsibility in the Nike organization. In order to re-drive, we
need to form the team and convince the team to rive this initiative
in the organization.
- Resources
availability: As a CEO, I need to find the resources and
fund so that this initiative can be driven in the organization in
proper manner and it should be well supported by other team members
n the organization.
- Drive this
initiative at organization level: As a CEO, I need to
drive this initiative at the organization level. The senior
management team needs to be made convinced for this initiative and
buying needs to be taken from them.
- Employee acceptance/
influence: In last but not the least, I need to organize
for general communication for all employees and we need to show our
plans with them and needs to take their acceptance / buying for the
same. The employees need to be influenced to accept this new
initiative for the organization.
Over all it is the big drive in the organization interms of
proper communication, rosurces, fund, team formation, employee
awareness and acceptances with inclusion in the strategies so that
it will survive for longer durations.
