How much do you rely on communications? When you answer this, consider the number of text messages, phone calls, and e-mails you have either sent or received in the last 24 hours from your computer or smartphone. Is the number any different from one of the days from last week? Do you think you could refrain from sending or receiving any of these types of communication for a day? Why, or why not? How reliant are you on telecommunications? Explain..
How do we rely on communications? In simple words we rely completely on communications.
Being a marketing and sales professional I cannot assume my daily activities without communication. No communication would mean no work at all.
In the last 24 hours I have made 18 calls, some hunderd messages and 13 mails. This number remains roughly the same on normal days. On weekends it is certainly lower than than week days.
Considering to refrain from sending or receiving for one day will be difficult but certainly can be done. It can create some delay in important work but won't create some big damage.
Email services do sometimes face technical issues. Also there can be some network issues while you are travelling or may be at some hill stations.
It is fine when you don't have any one medium of communication, but it becomes terrible when you loose all communication mediums.
In the modern day world whether at professional or personal level everyone is completely dependent on telecommunications.
It is really difficult to even imagine communication without telecommunications sources. Thus I am completely reliant on them.
It makes things easier, it reduces time taken for almost all the operations, makes things simpler and thus everyone is reliant on them.
