Solutions

Expert Solution

Entrepreneurial leadership requires coordinating and empowering a community of people through creativity, risk management, taking advantage of opportunities and navigating the complex organizational climate to achieve a common goal. The leader should express their thoughts clearly, and the roadmap for achieving shared goals. They foster communication among departments and across levels. They avoid ambiguities and generalizations, and due to poor communication they are able to prevent disputes and misunderstandings.

An entrepreneurial leader recognizes the value of initiative and reactivity and provides all the support the team needs to achieve its goals. Normally, the leader doesn't discipline workers when they take a calculated risk that misfires. Instead, they are sitting down with workers to examine what went wrong and working with them to correct the errors. The leader has tremendous self-belief, and gained trust from years of innovation, often disappointment, and learning. They are aware of their strengths and limitations, and demonstrate their talents without hubris. An entrepreneurial leader is very self-assured.

The entrepreneurial leader creates an environment with a deep understanding of the importance of the contribution of others to organizational success that allows others to exchange ideas, develop and prosper. They are constantly seeking the views of others, and empowering them to come up with solutions to the problems they face. There is always constructive feedback from the visionary leader when workers come forward with an opinion.
