Investigate if and how your district addresses professional learning communities. How does your district encourage and maintain a collaborative environment??

Process learning communities are the communities which contain an educators group, that would be meeting regularly along with sharing of their expertise so as to work in a collaborative manner for improvement of teaching skills along with increasing the performance of the students . These are called as professional learning groups, or collaborative communities for learning.

In my district, professional learning communities are Carried out by the educators, who are affiliated with various universities, in the form of volunteering work. They aim at skill development such that every individual would become independent and have some or the other goal. Also, the educators use innovative and interactive methods of teaching, which doesn’t let the students bore out.

In order to maintain a collaborative environment, we regularly carry out community activities, with participation from members of different households, along with a fair, where, every family would be bringinga traditional dish from their house. This allows the different families to interact along with forming bonds, through exchange of cultures.
