1. Explain the importance of the First Amendment to PR.
When we talk about Public relations In a democratic society it is about free communication with the social masses hence success of PR is mostly dependent on the constitutional provisions providing guaranty that congress will not or can not make any law prohibiting free exercise or infringing the freedom of speech to the people or the press ( thats what is the basic of first amendment)
2. What basic guidelines of copyright law should public relations professionals know about?
Here are some basic guidelines to be taken care of by a PR professional .
a. Ideas cannot be copyrighted but the expression of those ideas
can.
b. Should copyright Major PR materials.
c. Take permission for material used for sale (preferably in
writing)
d. Seek permission for taped segments of TV, movies, or
songs.
e. Freelance photographers retain rights to photos
f. Private letters, photos of celebrities require releases.
g. Government documents are not copyrighted but avoid implying
government endorsement
use a delicate choice of words . A news release should be written to indicate clearly statements of opinion and statements of fact.

Through Social Media is a fastest means of communication , it comes with its own disadvantage of possibility of rumor spread , traditional media provides better control & more centralized approach while word of month is most prone to mis-communications.
4. Describe how issues management can prevent or lessen the impact of crises.
If two organizations experience a crisis, both suffer various amounts of fault. In terms of organizational crisis, hence addressing issues between them two parties can make matters worse for stakeholders by blaming the crisis on each other. however addressing issues by collective effort can create a win win for both parties .

Do a sentiment analysis on social media platform. It helps you see what people are saying about your organization research, your activist position, and how it’s being portrayed in the press.So, before jumping in, an organization must be prepared for the good, the bad, and the ugly. & prepare a through PR strategy accordingly .
