Workplace trust and transparency | Ben Hempstead |
can you please explain this
We all enjoy trust. Ben Hempstead believes that trust and transparency is key to our success. His experience was with an engineering firm.As an example of trust he mentioned that trust begins with hiring as the person is immediately given keys to the building and a company cheque book. All the employees are responsible for their part of work.So personal integrity and trustworthiness are required in business and this has many advantages. At the same time work environment should be transparent.A transparent workplace lays emphasis on proper communication and honesty.Transparent workplace leads to happy employees which further leads to more production.Transparent workplace leads to openness between employers and employees..Ben Hempstead believed that the whole team should sit together in the workplace and connect with each other.Peer reviews of work is very encouraging. The entire system's success depends on the contribution of every individual. The new employee can see the manager's work as well and so success and failure are visible to everyone. The adverse relation that might develop between employer and employee in a business can be lessened by talking to employees everyday and being transparent.Being honest with oneself and his capabilities ,goes a long way to avoid letting down other people which is very important.Trust and transparency not only works in business but also in family relationship.
