Answer the following in 4-6 sentences:
What are the pros and cons of diverse groups as opposed to homogeneous groups? Provide two pros and two cons.
The diverse groups would have individuals with different ideas and line of thoughts which will help in tackling any new problem. The second advantage of diverse group is that each individual can learn to solve the same problem with a different angle and therefore develop a better understanding of things. The cons are that people generally like to spend time with those who agree with them so, it is likely that diverse group members may not be excited to meet and work towards a common goal. The second con is that due to different perspective of individuals conflicts may happen within the group.
The homogeneous groups have better compatibility to work towards a common goal. They share their work and achievements and remain in harmony with each other. The cons are lack of ideas and creativity within the group and the information is processed less carefully than in diverse groups as here everyone has similar views.
