**Summary of the Bindler-Ball Healthcare Model-
A new health care model is applied to child health nursing within all health care contexts,from acute care setting to chronic care services to well child focused care.Health promotion and maintenance are defined and explored,along with application of these concepts in major types of care along the health care continuum.
The influence of family,culture and community are viewed as integral to health promotion strategies.
-the nurse will do assessment,direct nursing care interventions,client and family education at appropriate levels,client advocacy,case management,minimising distress and enhancement of coping.

-This is particularly for nurse paradigms of health promotion and health education interchangebly within parameters of clinical practice.
