Roy Adaptation model:

In 1976, sister callista Roy develop adaption model of Nursing. These model describes that how the nursing used to society.These model is to develop the goals and to promote adaptation.

According to Roy's Model,a person is referred as psycho social being that can interact with a changing environment. and it is used to innate and acquired mechanism to adapt.Some of people were involved in these model such as families and communities.These model made up of four components that is : Person, environment, fitness and nursing.

Assumption:

  • Nursing is depend upon casualty.
  • Nursing should obey and consider their patient values and opinions.
  • Person must adapt to the environmental changes.

Nursing steps of adaptation model:

  • Assessment of patients behaviour and affected patient stimuli
  • Diagnosis
  • Goal
  • Intervention
  • Evaluation

Pender's Health promotion model:

It was designed by Nola J.Pender. These model describes that people have interact with in environment to pursue health.These version depend on three areas: Individual characteristics, behaviour specific cognition, behavioural outcome.

Assumptions:

  • Individual actively regulate their behavior.
  • Individual should interact with environment,progressively reworking the environment.
  • Health professional are being a part tp promote health of a people.
