Resistant

Secure - This type of attachment style reveals that the child feels secure and confident . Child feels that the other will be able to fulfill all the needs .Attachment figure is used as a platform by the child to explore the external environment and als during the times of distress .This attachment style develops when the caregiver actively acts towards the signals and demands of the child .They show separation anxiety and feel happy when the mother returns .In presence of a stranger they avoid the stranger if the mother is not there and behave ins friendly way if the mother is present .

Resistant - This type of attachment style child feels extremely distressed when the mother leaves .When the child is exposed to strangers he or she shows fear because of strangers and avoids the stranger.The reunion behaviour involves child approaching the mother and also pushing her away .a resistance of contact can be seen.These type of infants cry more and exploration is less than others The behavior is ambivalent in nature
