Job analysis is the process to identify and determine in detail the particular job duties and requirements and the relative importance of these duties for a given job. it is a process where the judgement are made about the data collected on a job. it is the systematic investigation of job content, the physical circumstances in which job is carried out and the qualification needed to carry out job responsibilities. it always include compareable categories to analyze the activities required for position . job discription is a written summary of one or two pages long of the basic task associated with particular job. it is helpful in job recruiting, job selection and training. job specification are the qualification listed on the job discription. they are the list of qualification required to complete a specific position in the company.
component of job discription are--------job title, job location, job summary, reporting to, working condition, job duties, machine to be used, hazards.
components of job specification------qualification, experience, training, skill, responsibility, sensory demand, emotional characteristics.
