Imagine that you are a leader of a company that wants to change to more of a B corporation. However, many of the current employees have been with the company for over five years and have established a culture that may not be in line with your new vision. Your job is to analyze your own leadership style and what changes you will need to make to see your vision become reality. You will also need to investigate other companies and how they changed their corporate culture.
As a leader my responsibility is to achieve overall company objectives and improves productivity.
If for that I find most of the employees are old and resistant to change as per my approach.
First of all I will understand the gap between current practice and my vision and then compare with industry standard as well. Later I will draft report for changes required at each stage and who and all is going to impact and its magnitude also.
Later I will call meeting with all concerned and explain them the management objective and how can we attain it with understanding of situation where we are and what changes needs to be done.
Will plan strategy for changes to be done in phases and training if required and will try to balance considering both technological and social factors so that everybody will understand and cooperate and not to frame any negative opinion or any personal impact with proposed changes.
Also will try to benchmark with other companies methodology for cultural changes and overall give a positive image to all.
