1. Identify what is the change:
Change is required in the areas where the company is not able to achieve the target set. 'Why they were not able to achieve the targets and what necessary steps should be taken to achieve the target set?' are the questions the answer to which should be included in the change suggested.
2. Who is involved
All the people who are responsible for the deviation in set target need to be involved for achieving a set target. It may be board of directors, management, staff members or in other words the internal stake holders.
3. What are the change goals (what is success):
Change goals are related with the accomplishment of the targets set earlier and which we were not able to achieve. Now the necessary steps would be taken to achieve those targets first. So, while deciding upon changed goals we must keep in mind our resources, strategy and it's feasibility.
4. How would you communicate this change:
These changes will be communicated through meetings with all the levels of management and the employees. If required they will be be provided with trainings. There may be some groups or individuals who may oppose the change or rebel, they will be motivated and the purpose behind these changes will be communicated and made them understood.
5. How would you monitor this change:
Results of implementing the changes will be evaluated on a regular basis and with measured with the new targets set. If required necessary steps can be taken to reduce the discrepancy in the target and actual results.
