Think about, decide upon and describe a business-related problem you would like to resolve. The first step is to know and to clearly articulate a "Problem Statement" and a "Problem Question".The problem needs to be narrowed down to the extent resolution is possible. If problems are too general, you end up discovering all kinds of details and getting to a result, a solution, a resolution can be overwhelming. Keep it simple.
Describe in detail information about this problem, who cares about the problem, what people/roles are involved, why this problem needs to be resolved, what is the purpose of giving effort, time, and resources to address the problem. Sometimes this process is referred to as a "Work Plan" although we will add the considerations regarding Anticipating the Audience and Issues in Step 2.
Problem Statement- In order to expand a business in the relevant market, the first priority is to satisfy the consumer and their needs. If the business fails to attain its primary objective its establishment has no means.
Problem Question- Whether the management needs to provide better and limpid regulations in order to make customer loyal and retain them for better profit of the business.
Details of the Problem- XYZ ltd, a private ltd co. own a business of textile in a city called Mumbai. In the preceding year when the company calculated its annual turnover it got minimized and the probable reason was lack of customer satisfaction. It was found out through further research that the management did not have any work plan for such kind of situations.
Who cares about the Problem? - The top level management cares about the problem because it is the primary motives of the business and shall be dealt by the authority in order to gain more profit for the benefit of the company.
What people are involved? - In this problem majorly marketing department and customer care department is involved, but as far as my knowledge whole company should act as a whole unit in order to gain customer trust because if the customer contacts the company looking for the help then the primary objective of that employee is to provide remedy to the customer.
This problem needs to be resolved in order to increase the productivity of the company and for better functioning of its capital.
The purpose behind giving effort, time and resources to address this issue is because the business needs to be managed by the effort of every single employee of the company in the given time with all the potential use of its resources.
