1. What are the major external forces for change in today’s organizations?
2. What are the advantages of using an external change agent? An internal change agent?
3. Can organizations prevent resistance to change? If so, how?
?External forces in an organization affects the organizations a lot. It is difficult to have controll over these factors.Major external forces for organizational change are:
1. Technology: It is a very important force or change. With the advancement in technology organizations need to train employees in order to make them capable of using the advanced technologies for the betterment and growth of the organization.
2. Marketting conditions: With the advancement in the tecnology ,the marketting strategies need to be improved. Due to the tough competition it is important for every organization to come up with improved methods of marketting.
3.Social Changes: Changes in the social environment also works as another important external force. organizations need to keep in mind these changes all the time and must try to make changes in their employment policies accordingly.
4.Political forces: Country's political environment also plays an important role. Government policies sometimes results in a postive manner and sometimes in a negative manner. Government Laws and regulations matter a lot.Not only country's political environment matter but world's politics also affects the organizations a lot.
2. Advantage of using an external change agent is that it gives an open feedback about theorganization without being biased or being under any sort of pressure which really proves helpful to the organizattion.Whereas an internal change agent helps in maintaing a balance among the employees and the organization
3. Organizations can prevent resistance to change with proper mangement . Resistance to change is human nature but it can be managed in the following manner:
. ?By applying effective change management from the very starting of the project.
.? Acceptence to resistance to change is also very importan and must be handed wisely.

. ?Causes to resistance needs to be identified.
.? Experienced and senior managers must be invovled in managing resistance to change. There must be a team to manage it.
