Lean Six Sigma Black Belts are highly valued employees. They are compensated well and are in high demand. Provide an example of this, with either your observations where you work, job postings, salary rates, etc. Why do organization value this certification so highly?
In my previous organization, the managers with Lean Six Sigma Black Belts are of high demand and are provided with high salary. When my manager was paid only around $60,000 per year, the managers with lean six sigma were provided with an average of $1,40,000 per year. When I compare the salaries of project managers on various websites I can see that the lean six sigma managers are heavily paid and some of them with good experience earn around $10,00000 per annum.
Organizations value Six Sigma so highly because it helps the individuals to identify the process errors and eliminate them. This would help to increase the revenue of the firm and also increases customer satisfaction with fewer chances of customer complaints. The reputation of the firm also increases with the high quality of service provided. There is significant reduction in cost with little process deviation and also manages the finances well. The certification helps the person to possess good risk management skills. Moreover it is very difficult to attain Six Sigma Certification and the person who achieves Sig Sigma Black Belt would have excellent knowledge in business process improvement.
