Six Sigma has two methodology:
1. DMAIC: this process h to improve the existing plan rather than implementing the new ones in the organization.
In DMAIC, D stands for Define the existing system of the process, which needs to be improved. M stands for measure the data, which is required inter-process of a current plan. A stands for analyzing the collected data to figure out the cause and effect relationships among various factors. I stand for improving the process and implementing the future process steps using the results of the analyzed process. C is for control the implemented process in the future state and ongoing monitoring of current data.
2. DMADV: this methodology focuses on implementing new processes and plans. In this, D stands for Define and elaborate design goals consistent with customer needs and company. M stands for measure the new methods features, advantages, disadvantages, and possibilities of success. An is to analyze data collected during the measuring step to develop alternative output and procedure designs. D stands for design the best product or process composition based on the conclusions of the analysis. V stands for verifying that configuration is functional practically and works according to the plan.
