how do you determine product offering for customer need and requirement for product and service.
In my organization ( say startup in FMCG) , i used to investigate and collect valuable information of customers or potential customers in the form of feedback form, online surveys, discussion forum, online campaign to engage possible customers etc.
Apart from these, competitors analysis wnd and marketing intelligence helps us in knowing the trends and lifestyles of users about a particular product or after sales services requirements. We try to note and record suggestions of existing customers as well as third party business partners to further launch products and services to different segments of customers. From time to time , we collect large amounts of big data through internet enabled mediums. It offers us an edge and innovative information to design new products. Apart from this , i have deputed a team who used to collect and suggest us strategies related to launching of new products and services.
